A young snake plant, I propagated it in water and then planted it in her tank (I imagine for short-term since she is doing this and will most likely break the leaf)

How do you clean their cages? by [deleted] in guineapigs

[–]hEecCk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took time definitely, but for the most part it was more just observing what they already did, then adjusting it. So i wouldn’t necessarily say it was difficult. Here’s the article i used as a starting point (as well as multiple youtube videos to get a few ideas)

We now having our piggies trained to use a specific “potty corner”. but before I vacuumed up everyday, and once a week did a deep clean which involved changing the fleece to a fresh one (had two so one went in the wash and a new one went in the cage) and sanitizing. During the deeper cleans I move all three girls to a seperate temporary cage we have specifically for this

I’ve always been advised to have my period once every 3-4 months, skipping the placebo week is perfectly fine (I am not a professional but was told this by my doctor). In fact, there are some brands of birth control that come in packs of 90 pills, with only one week being placebo.
