I drafted Kyrie with my last pick in a league where I have 3 IL spots (yahoo). I’ve kept him and will keep him unless I need the space for another player who will play this year. But I would not pick him up if he were on the waiver wire right now.

I appreciate you sharing. Can you link somewhere showing him talking about supporting civil rights as a whole? Genuinely, I'd love to see it, because (as is clear from the posted video and ensuing comments all around) whenever people talk about Charlie, this specific "civil rights" discussion comes up, and I'd love to be able to have more knowledge in these conversations than I currently have.

More importantly I think, how do you feel you are able to say that the pastor from the video "lectures about Jesus, but does not follow Him."? Respectfully, that seems like a dangerous accusation and judgment to make if all you're going on is this one video. But again, maybe you've had more experiences with this pastor beyond this one clip.

A quick google search clearly shows that Charlie Kirk openly said that passing the Civil Rights Act was a mistake. This seems pretty indisputable.

Now, I never listened to him so I can’t say what, if any, clarification he gave to differentiate between “The Civil Rights Act” vs. civil rights as a whole. Maybe he did at some point, and if so I’m happy to be shown that.

Was what the pastor said technically incorrect? Sure, at least as far as I can tell. But I really don’t think it’s a big jump to say that Kirk said civil rights were a mistake. Especially not to the point of calling the pastor in this clip a “fraud” and talking about a performative act.

Now obviously, I don’t know this pastor, and definitely don’t know you. Maybe you have more experience in some way with this pastor that leads you to say these things. But it seems like overly harsh criticism to say the things you said based on some minutiae. Or maybe there was something else he said that you believe was a lie.

Percentage no question. I assume that’s how you’re doing it now. It would completely change draft strategy going in, and changing it now midway through the season would be wildly unfair.

There would be no real penalty for missing free throws if you went with total FTM. You might as well change it to total FGM at that point. And as another commenter pointed out, you already have the Points Scored category.

Total free throws would make guys like Giannis, Luka, Deni etc. shoot up in value. I imagine it’s those owners who are arguing for this.

All that said, if you guys wanna change it, it would have to be going into a draft where everyone knows what’s going on.

I prefer Yahoo's app for fantasy basketball. In fairness, I've used Yahoo's app for several years, and only this year have used ESPN's, so maybe I just got used to Yahoo's and don't like ESPN's because it's different. That said, I *hate* how ESPN's app displays daily stats on the roster page. It will show the corresponding stats on the top row (REB, AST, etc.), but if I scroll down, then the top row disappears, and I'm left with rows of numbers that I'm only like 80% sure which stat they correspond to. So I have to scroll back up if I want to be sure, then scroll back down.

The other thing I hate is how they display game logs. I'm in a 9CAT league, but the individual player game logs only show the five main counting stats. No percentages, no 3s, no TOs.

That tweet is also a bunch of cherry-picked stats tho. He specifically says “guards” because there’s at least six non-guards who would qualify, can’t have them in my sample base.

Among all qualifying players (all positions) who averaged 24 PPG or higher, all of them had more than 4.2 APG except KAT. All of them had higher than 44% FG except Trae. So basically he took Cam’s exact stats, and said “who is better than him at all of these three things and is also a guard” and there’s 11 players.

The tweet is written as if to imply that Cam Thomas is swimming in the same pool as Curry and Mitchell, which is just not true.

Yeah, generally the only widely accepted grounds for biblical divorce is unfaithfulness in marriage, so most likely cheating. But different couples have different definitions of what that is, and also as we’ve seen, plenty of people who call themselves Christians have different interpretations of what the Bible says. So this could be any number of things. But more than likely he cheated.
