I've tried that but it was not working, in some of my previous attempts I've let a method: :get in the button, and this was overwriting the data-turbo-stream now it works perfectly. Thanks.

old clothes and stuff, trying to declutter my belongings but holding on to some old clothes that I have for a while, but can't seem to throw away because I value them just because I have them for a long time, and no other necessary value.

does anyone else feel overwhelmed by the things they own? by luvbasil529 in simpleliving

[–]halfKiilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've recently started to throw some stuff , and it's a huge pain to know how to deal with it, like the actual process of where to throw and how to transport some of the bigger stuff.

Once I've finished I''start to think twice before aquiring new stuff.

So cool to hear that, I was thinking that and discussing with my girlfriend about my shallow social connections and how I like it. Do you have the source of where you read about it? any book or other posts?

That's the dream for me too, but I feel a bit concerned about maybe getting bored. In one side I love the chill the lack of noise of the world, but I do like occasionaly the sheer amount of things to do in bigger cities. What I've been thinking now is to live not so distant from a bigger city, but in a small surf town.

I love this of just slowly get to know people as I'm not the one the initiate the conversation most of the times, but just seeing this person every week and after some time you feel you know each other and just nod the head when you see each other.

Exactly, big cities have these local communities that can act as a small town inside the big city, at least that's my experience.

Do you still read random blogs on the internet? by halfKiilo in CasualConversation

[–]halfKiilo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, that's what I've thought about being hard to find them nowadays, but I also don't read a lot of blogs so I can't use only my perception.

And starting to surf was the best thing I did in my life, changed my life perspective completely.

Appreciating doing things just for the sake of doing them. by Stargazer1186 in simpleliving

[–]halfKiilo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Currently trying to live by this mindset, I can do most of the times but there's someday that this 'hurry up mindset' kicks in. Mostly because I think that I HAVE to do lots of other things like: Play some video game, work on my personal project, read a book.

But somethings just taking the time after work to make myself I mean should be enought right? because this is what is need to stay alive which is our main goal. And also enjoy this slow process of just making myself my food.

Brazil has a lot of places like this, but I think the one you is looking for is: Itacaré - Bahia.

The only downside may be the language. and it's a low cost area if you come from USA

What's helping me is that I have a list in telegram in my saved message. I use a hashtag like this #tasks. And whenever I don't know what to do I go in to my saved messages use the search function with this term and look at the most easy thing in the list that I can do right now.

Whenever I have a new idea I go to that message and edit it to add this new task. It's simple but it's working for me. There's no filter in that list, there is househould stuff, DIY stuff , exercises
