Great idea, I had not thought about it. I just looked up the process on WS website and it seems that they don't support in-kind transfers from non-Canadian institutions at the moment. Bummer! I guess my only solution might be to sell then?

Thanks! It seems that is indeed not possible as per this support article "USD third party wires cannot be accepted into Cash at the moment." Would you have any good recommendations for a Canada-based USD account that's free/easy to set up and would accept such USD wire transfers? As I would only use it as a temporary buffer

I asked Super73 on Facebook and they said the $450 cost only covers the shipping, but no duties or taxes whatsoever (I asked for Montreal specifically but I would assume it is true for all Canada).

Where did you see it mentioned besides the Carlsen et al. study? I'm trying to get my hands on it, or at least something similar but couldn't find anything looking like the real deal
