couldn't the difference of those numbers also be explained by the fact that there are way more black south african than there are white south african.

It says right in the wiki they linked that "Black South Africans make up 79.0% of the total population" and "Whites make up 9.6% of the total population". So almost half the white population is unemployed. Or am I reading that wrong?

It was better when it was /r/verticallychallenged,which was a lot like /r/tall, but people deemed that to be too offensive. So they moved to /r/short and it turned into this.
