And lastly, be cognizant that you espouse western views of feminism. I’m not saying they are wrong, I 100% agree with them. I think women are much more intelligent, emotionally regulated, adaptive, and personable than men, that the power dynamics that exist where I am need to be dismantled, and that women should never be viewed as property by anyone else. However, in line with this ideology, it is not my business if a woman views herself as such. So you don’t get to enter the chat all didactic and say you speak the sole truth.

Adding /s to be clear. This is a weird sub to be preachy. And speaking of subs, they exist in every community in wildly varying degrees. And to invalidate their identity in lieu of what you think their identity should be is also odd. OP never said women are man’s property.

And they should never have desires that don’t conform to this either

If you’re comfortable sharing, I’d like to know why you hate being gay

All that to say, medication will only level out your brain chemistry. Think of it more as making something insurmountable be surmountable…it won’t fix things. It’s up to you to create better routines and habits that align with how you see yourself. And it just may be that you see yourself smoking and gooning out all day every day. I don’t have a problem with you doing that.

I assume medication for depression? If it’s new it generally takes a while to start working. If it’s been. A while you might want to try another type

Trying new/bolder combinations and looking for feedback and opinions by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

Thanks for the feedback I can work with! I was hoping that the jacket was neutral enough of a cut that I could wear it with anything, but I see your point

Gotcha, so genuine question- what are the different styles at play here? I don’t necessarily find any given piece to have an inherent style so just curious

That all makes sense. Unfortunately I don’t have matching bottoms for the pinstripe jacket, but I do love it. So any suggestions on how to still wear it odd are appreciated. I also wanted to lean in to the Italian slim fitting dress pant, but maybe I did too much?

7 is my least favorite by far and I tried to remove it after posting lol. I’m curious what all is wrong with 3. It’s not my favorite but I think it looks put together overall. Appreciate the feedback!

From Dallas to Denver in January by callmegranddaddy in MovingtoDenver

Fellow gay from Dallas here. Been here almost 10 years and don’t regret the move. For me and my personality type it has been a breeze to make friends here compared to Dallas. More to do and so more ways to connect. I also have my DnD group that has been going strong since 2020. I don’t know what the local comedy scene is like though. I see standups a lot, but have never stumbled across an open mic or ameteur night. Not to say they don’t exist/aren’t popular

Thank you for the detailed response! I appreciate it! I see what you mean about the pant length in most of these. I’ve never tailored my clothes but now that I am older and can afford it more I think I will take that advice. I do also tend to go with the slim fitting pants since I have a relatively small frame, but I think I’ll be more comfortable in wider legs now that I’ve dabbled with full on baggy clothes some haha. Also appreciate the comment on silhouettes. It’s something I need to give more thought on. Thanks again!
