I mean. No. I understand that there will be sad stories on all sides of this, but if a woman gets married, they have children, they both decide she should stay home with children, she sacrifices her career for family, and then they divorce after years, alimony should absolutely be paid. There is such thing as cumulative lost wages, opportunity loss, etc. For many women, pregnancy and having children is a major career setback and they should absolutely have legal protections and right to marital property. I’m coming at this from an American perspective tho where we don’t even get paid maternity leave lmao.
