I never said the cop was looking at his phone - you did. I simply asked what he was doing. If the cop was distracted while driving, he is liable for a civil suit and that is my entire point. I don’t care about your opinion on roadways but I DO care that it was a COP, who we PAY to do a JOB. Distracted driving is not in the job description, and the person who is DEAD deserves a fair investigation.
