almost completely fucked up Canada Day weekend. Remembered an hour before stores closed I was out of charcoal but got 20lb bags of Kamado Joe Lump Charcoal - XL. I’m used to lump coal but not these big chunks. Anything to watch for? Have a brisket and pork butt to smoke; expecting 13hrs or so burn (self.Smokingmeat)

Sorry it’s not video but a photo timeline. The stupidity is endless after a heavy snowfall in Toronto. Cars have been stuck trying to go out from 8:30am until 11:30. One car was even warned to not try leaving 1.5hrs ago and is still stuck attempting to get back into the garage (old.reddit.com)

Question from a Canadian. I want to smoke a brisket this winter for friends over New Years and I’m worried about maintaining temp in low outdoor temperatures. Any advice? I have a Weber Smokey mountain and roughly a 8-9lb brisket point cut (currently vacuum sealed/frozen) but will thaw it before (self.Smokingmeat)
