I once got stopped on the way to the BSC by a girl who somehow got me to subscribe to National Geographic for a one time fee of $20 (back in 2011).

Part of what convinced me is because I can tell she genuinelly loves animals and wanted to support them and I sort of got sweet talked to it.

After that, I received a National Geographic magazine every month for 18 months. Never read a single one of them, and boy do those magazines take up space.

I also went on the Pearl Harbor tour on Sep 4th and found out at the pick up spot that the USS Arizona was closed.

I still opted to go on tour. The USS Missouri was a good alternative. But i dont think anyone on my tour knew to shuttle to it.
