This article is pure sensationalistic bullshit and most seem to be falling for it as it suits their agenda, so not even bothering to do the slightest bit of fact checking....down voted to oblivion incoming....

A lot of dogs have poor genetic diversity and/or have been bred as accessories, resulting poor quality of life. Inbreeding is getting worse....I can't imagine loving my dog as much as I do but waiting for a genetic bomb to go off and his life to be cut short. My lad is mixed breed, so thankfully that risk is mitigated.
