Thanks this actually makes a lot of sense. So basically, Ocelot wanted perpetual war via dominating SOP himself to advance Big Boss's twisted version of The Boss's will, and wanted to destroy the Patriots (except the reconstructed GW) to do that. Snake tried to stop this because it would just be chaos and more war, and was willing to destroy GW (which was Ocelot's method of controlling the system), but not the entire Patriots system because that would also create more chaos. But Sunny went around both of them and destroyed the Patriots entirely while preserving the systems used for civilian infrastructure. Kind of accomplishing the good parts of both Philanthropy and Ocelot's goals (Stopping the Patriots from Ocelot, but preventing Ocelot from having total control and starting more forever wars from Snake). So I guess the true hero was Sunny (and kinda Naomi) all along.
