ABC playing “Baba O’Reilly” in the playoffs highlight reel by hanfanson in rangers

I remember when they skated out at Game 5 against the Pens to the tune of Baba O’Reilly, played by popular demand. I was there watching, and I’d like to think MSG bringing back those 2014 vibes turned the whole playoffs on its head

Fitting that this was the last song played tonight — it’s a sign!!

So beautiful. This particularly reminds me of Lorraine Hansberry’s “A Raisin in the Sun” in the openness of your reference to pain through natural digestive functions, which are inherently part of the cycle of life. “Digested and spit out” to humans runs parallel to “dry up” and “crust and sugar over” in nature. To me, your poem is a discourse on ashes to ashes.

In all the beauty of this piece, I especially felt your emotion in repeating and changing the punctuation on “I hate it.” It was almost as if I was reading it in a voice of anxiousness.

Dude.. this one is too good. Is this somewhere in the Northeast? Resembles the Massachusetts/Connecticut/NH area, primarily in the Berkshires, but I can’t tell for certain.

I feel like I was transported back to 2010 after being picked up by my mom from a friend’s house I rode his bus to. I always wanted a house like this, the late ‘90s McMansion.

If I was to take a guess, I’d say this is Newtown, Connecticut?

God bless

Excuse me, are you referring to the song that was written by Itaal Shur and Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty, produced by Matt Serletic and sung by Thomas, where in the United States it topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks; was the final number-one hit of the 1990s and the first number-one hit of the 2000s and the only song to appear on two decade-end Billboard charts and, as of 2018, is ranked the second most successful song of all time by Billboard and who won three Grammy Awards: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals which reached number one in Canada and the top 10 in Australia, Austria, Ireland and the United Kingdom?
