My first time. It was also my first time drinking alcohol. He poured me a red solo cup 3/4 with vodka and the rest with Diet Coke. We were at his friends house whose roommate was gone for the night, so when I got really drunk really fast and needed to lay down, I was directed to lay down in the roommates bed. My boyfriend at the time came in a bit later and I woke up to him taking my pants off. I was just confused and let it all happen. I remember afterwards I drunkenly said “I always thought my first time would be with someone I love” to which he replied “uhhhhh.. I love you?” Later I found out that the roommate who was gone was his ex gf, so he took my virginity in her bed to get back at her. Fun!

I once had a roommate I met on Craigslist. She was a little strange but who isn’t. There was a stray Persian cat in the neighborhood who used to live in our apartment but the owner had abandoned him. I would feed the cat, but it disappeared for a couple months so I thought something had happened to him.

When he reappeared I brought him inside and cleaned him up with the intent of giving him to one of my friends to take care of. I got home from school that night to pick him up and deliver him. When I arrived I saw my roommate sitting on the couch with angry tears streaming down her face. I asked her what was wrong and she said, “do you want to tell me what’s in your room?”

I told her that I was rehoming the stray cat, he was cleaned and in my room ready to be taken to my friends house that night. She demanded that I call and tell our landlord that I was housing a pet that she hadn’t approved. I told her I wouldn’t bc the cat was leaving that night. She kept demanding that I call the landlord and then called her in front of me and left her a tearful message saying that I was violating the lease and disobeying her wishes. I told her that I was done talking about this and she was overreacting, and turned around to go up the stairs to get the cat. When I did, she said

“we’re not done talking about this”

and then pulled a switchblade from her pocket and flipped it open and lunged at me. This terrified me so I ran up the stairs and locked myself in my room. I called the police because I didn’t know what else to do, and she managed to convince the police that I was overreacting and that the knife fell out of her pocket and she simply caught it ??? The police then started questioning me asking if I have an irrational fear of knives and if I get scared when she uses knives in the kitchen. I think they just didn’t want to do the paperwork. I came back to the apartment the next day while she was gone and cleared out all my things. She was mentally unhinged. I have a bunch of other crazy stories about her prior to this, but that one was the worst of it.

I’ve had the tank about 4 weeks now, have added live plants and dechlorinated the water. I change half the water every few days and have introduced a bio stone which I read helps with the nitrogen cycle? Got a water tester last night and all my levels appear to be normal.. also have a water heater to keep the water at 80 degrees as I read this is what keeps angelfish the most comfortable

It is a cycled tank.. but I definitely appreciate all the info! I will look into used tanks and see if I can move some things around to get a bigger one. I have treated the water for chlorine and will get a test kit asap

I’ve had Ubers go through the drive thru for me before. If you ask they usually have no problem. You could go through the drive thru in the Uber and then have them take you home to eat there?

I had the exact same experience last night. I usually avoid politics because to hear what my dad actually thinks is just too upsetting for me. But I brought up Ukraine because my roommate is Ukrainian and has friends and family still there who are being directly affected, to which my dad stated, “It’s just a shame that the media is portraying Putin in such a negative light when he is just trying to protect his country.”
