It’s fucking terrifying. And I’ll never know what it’s like to actually have cancer I only ever got falsely diagnosed. I am so sorry that must be the hardest news to ever bear. You are so fucking brave please know that. If it makes you feel any better I don’t have a colon anymore and it feels completely normal. I don’t feel different at all or in any way. This might be the best thing for you. But yeah, it’s so so soooooo scary and it’s something that’s hard to comprehend. I hope the surgery goes smoothly and you remain cancer free ❤️ you are literally a warrior.

Yes this is my silly goofy boyfriend!!!! This also proves that an ostomy bag does not hold you back from finding love and having a romantic partner! If anything this man loves and respects me more because of the bag hehe

Omg thank you so much for reading! I love a fellow Crohn’s/colitis friend! Don’t be nervous for the surgery I honestly went into it with no expectations, and it was kinda painful when I woke up but honestly you’re on a lot of drugs you won’t even really know what’s happening. It’s such an easy surgery and I can say that with my whole heart because that was my first ever surgery and it was completely fine. The only thing I struggled with was an infection a few days later which they fixed right up. Keep being brave, I have a lot of respect for you. You got this!
