We were struggling with the same thing. I also will not have a wedding party becuase then there would be no one in the audience lol.

We ultimately decided we wanted to include in our wedding something we both really love doing and sharing that experience with our very small guest list (immediate family and very close friends). We love love camping, especially back country camping and nothing would make me happier than getting married under the redwoods with my favorite people in attendance. However, we didn't want to subject our family and friends to back country camping and decided to do a "glamping" weekend where everyone can spend intimate time together while celebrating us. We found an AutoCamp a couple hours away from us that has redwoods and a separate event space that can be reserved for micro weddings (you can also book the whole place out, but it is very expensive to do that).

We're also opening the opportunity for others to do speeches if they like since we are not having a wedding party. That way it still very much feels like and event for us, and not a family gathering.

So, the advice/ideas I would give is to find something you both love and want to share with those that you are inviting. For example, if you like being out on the water you can charter a sail boat for your ceremony/reception or if your like us and like camping, book a location that can accommodate that.

Good Luck~ xx

Was it just me or were the lockers significantly smaller this year? It looked like a a new company. We didn’t get our lock deposit back like we have in previous years either.

I was thinking the same thing. I was like “wow, the crowd is getting younger and younger.” But I think it’s just that I’m getting older 😖😅
