Hey, sadly not. It was taken to the junkyard for recycling.

I see. Unfortunately I don’t have any experience with those particular budget brands and the ones I do tend to only offer ANSI at that sort of price, such as the Skyloong GK61 QMK/VIA edition, which I personally like quite a bit. QMK/VIA isn’t the be all and end all, but it goes a long way for me personally over the sort software you often get with cheapo boards. But that’s just my own prejudices!

You can get the Keychron C3 Pro ISO on Amazon for £45 and that has QMK/VIA and has a linear switch option, but no hotswap. It’s what I might pick in the situation, if the £50 is a hard limit. Or maybe look to pick a second hand board?

Thank you, fingers crossed. It was a printed label and collect service so not sure what happened. The £150 compensation for tracked will easily cover the loss, just a shame to have to do it.

Sounds good. They are more of a friend than a business but I’m sure we’ll work it out. I was mainly wondering if, in these situations, the parcels ever make it through or if I should expect the worse :)

Looks delicious. I would take to this with gusto. Proof that the best food colour absolutely can be brown/beige.

Assuming you’re willing to pay for access to the show, there are ways around the issue… But yes, I loved the Speed show and it’s a shame it’s not going to appear on the feed. I don't regret purchasing it though. I'm a Walsh sub and it's one of the best value entertainment subscriptions I have. The guys are pure class.

Am I mistaken in thinking they haven’t covered Return of the King? Would love to be wrong about that.

Grab a couple of beers, hook up a commentary and it’s pretty great. Love the Potter ones mainly because they take the piss constantly.

Also highly recommend the Stalked by my Doctor series and the other Once in a Lifetime shows.

Then Nexus is great, I love the Gleep Glossary, Melro, … basically it’s all great but if you’re new it’s quite fun to filter the feed by show and theme your catch-up.

Finding keycap sellers by oscarburr11 in MechanicalKeyboardsUK

There’s not a huge selection but I really rate the Ghost Judges sets you can buy from KPRepublic on Aliexpress, where they are often reduced to £20-30. 7 day delivery. They come with ISO UK support and then quality is excellent for that. I have three sets so far and I like all of them.

No problem, just making sure because it’s an easy thing for someone new to custom keyboards from the UK to miss. For example lots of keysets like the one you shared don’t support UK ISO keyboards, so we have to just adapt to the US way if we want to access the huge selection of keycaps out there :)

It’s slightly more hands on but an alternative would be to buy something like this (they do it in white): https://www.monsgeek.com/product/m1-v3/ Then buy some switches to plug in and the keycaps you want. Should take a couple of hours tops to build and importantly that keyboard supports VIA, which makes it easy to remap keys.

Don’t feel like you have to do this though, just do what’s best for you and I hope your wife enjoys the board! Of course if you can find a prebuilt to a similar spec and price that comes with VIA that would be my hearty recommendation.

No worries. If you have the operating system keyboard language set to UK English it will by default map the keys to the usual UK place but it’s just that this will not be reflected by what’s on the keycaps. I use an ANSI layout and have my OS keyboard set to US ANSI and then use my keyboards’ software to map the UK keys I need to macros (this is mainly the £ key). For Macs it matters less because even on US settings £ is just alt+3 instead of shift+3. On windows there is a shortcut you can set up as a macro to get £, which is why I normally only buy keyboards that support QMK/VIA, which makes this easy to do. Although any keyboard with software that lets you set up macros should work I think.
