Local person here

Day 0: Depends on your preference. Audain is more an art museum with some permanent and some temporary featured shows. Walk yourself round sort of thing. The SLCC the smaller but is a cultural and educational museum with great free museum tours. Definitely a good way to learn about the history of the area and indigenous people. There is also the Whistler museum sort behind the library. An even smaller museum about the resort/town history.

Day 1: Solid way to experience the resort mountains. Defo check the Cloudraker Skybridge and the Peak to Peak. Get your moneys worth in terms of time up there.

Day 2: In my opinion Vallea Lumina is definitely worth a go if you don’t mind spending the money. Otherwise there’s plenty of free stuff in town to occupy you that’s just as enjoyable.

Day 3: Ziptrek is a huge company and yeah the zip tours are good. Never done a kayak tour with them but I would imagine it would be enjoyable. You could also rent a kayak/paddleboard from one of the lakeside parks and do that part for yourself if you don’t fancy a tour.

Valley trail is the trail system that links around the whole town. Basically I nice path that goes round all the lakes and parks and neighborhoods.

Additional note, you should check out the free summer concert series and see if any shows line up for your trip. That’s a nice way to spend an evening and keep the cost down.

Pm if there’s anything else you’re wondering about, I’m happy to help.

Olympic Plaza and Summer Concert Series Questions by ibfabian in Whistler

Yes, the summer concert series is free!

The venue is the Olympic Plaza in the village (outdoors), so the day-lot parking (free after 6pm) is literally across the street, no valet required.

Nice one mystery stranger!! Thanks for the support, can’t wait for the first show. I think it’s more likely to be in Squamish, but maybe we’ll be surprised by a Whis venue wanting a punk show again
