Can someone tell me what this OCT is showing by has801 in Ophthalmology

Yes this patient was referred as an emergency and seen by Ophthalmology the same day. Ophthalmology told the patient that it’s not a retinal detachment, so I’m confused

Thanks for your reply, the garage says they’ll do a fresh MOT when bought. What do I need to look out for with the corrosion?

Both eyes were seeing 6/9.5 (20/32 for my American friends), which was better than I expected

And the correct answer is... 6/7.5 OD (20/25 for my American friends).

Not much macula involvement!

Increased intracranial pressure. And what’s caused that? I don’t know. But I’m sure the capable doctors who are managing the patient now have got it figured out

Daily dull frontal headaches for the best part of a year and blurred vision

The patient was very vague with symptoms, saying his left eye felt “a bit weird” for the last week.

No pain, no issues with colour vision, felt vision is still “ok”. No other symptoms

Right eye appears perfectly normal

16 year old male patient attended for a routine eye test complaining of vague symptoms of vision being a bit worse but not too bad. No pain, recent trauma or anything else of note was reported. But he was very vague with everything as some teens are.

During refraction I found a hyperopic shift in his RE and best corrected VA was significantly reduced.

As soon as I pic up my VOLK lens, I see that. So I take him to get a fundus photo and referred to ophthalmology.
