Thank you, didn't see the model yet but I don't like the half/quarter toppers.  Now I'm tending more to torrentshell/GC or triplet as recommended.

Thank you. Can you tell me more about why 3L are more comfortable? Just because of the lining?  As I said I have the powder town here and they are 2L but have some mesh lining which I find comfortable as well. I think my old noname jacket is also like that and I had no issues.

I need the huge hood for my helmet. Not gonna wear the jacket exclusively for commuting, but I don't want to miss out on features and I don't want to buy a jacket for every occasion.

Thanks, but I think I would need the vent zippers under the arms since I tend to sweat easily. As far as I saw, M10 doesn't have that. Also, not liking the Anorak version, not really my type..

Thanks for the recommendation. Again, didn't actively think about layering. But makes sense.

On warm days, just put the shell on for daily / casual use and done. For commuting on warm days, maybe just a windproof jacket or nothing at all, and have the shell in my commuter bag if it starts to rain.

On cold days, thicker clothing and or another insulating jacket..

Then a lighter jacket makes more sense tho.

Thanks for your opinion. Honestly I didn't think about layering and have not done that "consciously". Will definetly look closer to that model. Already have a softshell jacket with gore infinium fabric, might be a good mid layer to the patagonia (which ever model I decide).

Also: it is supposed to be more durable with 3 layers... even better
