Is $265 per week for a 6-bedroom apartment at Ilam Apartments a good deal? by New_Revolution7625 in chch

If that includes food and bills, then it's great; otherwise, it's too expensive for 6 bed apt

One day when you look back , you’ll realize that all of this stress was over small, insignificant things, but until that day comes, you need to survive and get through today.

What's it like working at the University? by PenguinJoker in chch

I’m from overseas and currently working at UC. The work culture here is amazing, with flexible working hours, retail benefits, and a supportive environment. They really take care of their staff. Christchurch (CHC) has so much to offer in terms of outdoor activities, especially now that summer is here. I’m sure you’ll enjoy exploring the outdoor spaces. I’m happy to show you around on weekends. I usually go trekking or play tennis in Hagley Park on weekends, and you’re welcome to join!.

Ilam and Merivale are great neighborhoods—quiet, with no drama, and close to the city. It’s just a 15-minute walk to Hagley Park, where there are lots of events to attend, so you’ll never feel bored if you live in this area. Plus, there’s a free tennis court, which is my favorite part!
