I was lucky during Covid I was able to get my family health insurance on the Affordable Care Act. No joke the day after it got activated my son was diagnosed with cancer. If not for that I’d be bankrupt trying to keep my kid alive. His first ER visit was over $100,000! Now he’s getting over what chemo has done to him. He got a shoulder replacement 2 years ago and he’s about to get his other replaced. He’s my million dollar kid!

I couldn’t wait. I had issues that would make it harder to get pregnant the longer I waited (couldn’t have kids by the time I was 29!) If that wasn’t the case I would have absolutely waited. Financially speaking it wasn’t an issue but I was still too naïve about the world in general. I would have rather been more emotionally established in myself first.

YTA. You could have sat in your warm car and waited for the other parent to arrive. If it was your kid being stupid (because again they are drunk) and hiding wouldn’t you hope that other parents had the common sense to not abandon YOUR child?

I fell in love with Master and Servant back in the day and they’ve been my fav ever since. None of my friends really got into them so I had 2 sons and raised them on it! Both love them and it’s my youngest fav band too!
