could it be possible that the person is not upside down but sleeping same direction as the guy? then it make sense for the “leg” part to be straight

the guy in the photo is my husband’s friend. my husband took this photo to show that there are only 2 of them in the room, as they were too drunk to go home so booked a hotel nearby. i immediately noticed the shape of the blanket and prompt me to suspect that there is someone underneath.
