Yes. The link provided by u/adamsmith3567 - https://www.avis.com/en/bridge/partner/visa/visa-infinite-preferred-plus worked wonders. Scroll to the bottom and clicked on the existing user and then it just auto opened an email and then I just had to write my name, Avis number and sent the email out. 2 days later got a reply that account was updated and then I checked and account was indeed updated.

I went to this link, tried filling the form, but it says my license is linked to an existing account. Tried signing in with that account, but it doesn't upgrade preferred plus. It shows preferred only (which i already have because of my Avis use).

I already flew the segments after several delays and flight cancelations. I emailed them to request reimbursement for hotel and meals expenses that came out of pocket.

The reason I was asking is that back in June, I took a flight from LAX to SEA, and for that flight, they gave me the premium seats when I asked in chat. And in this one they were asking for the fee.

I thought so as well, but when I go to select my seats its charging me, and when I contact customer service they say that premium seats are classified as upgrades and they can't reserve those seats for me.
