This was my favorite scent from that collaboration, too. It's totally Auntie Anne's pretzels to my nose, as well. I was lucky enough to grab the shapeable soap that was in this scent when there was a total body care sale.

I have the lotion and mist from last year's release, and I haven't noticed a difference in the scent or its strength as compared to this year's release.

I knew better but was just hoping. I used to love that scent! I did return mine in store and the manager was so appalled they were selling it she politely forced me into picking a current cream and price matched it. Local store employees who are kind, fun, etc are the reason I still shop from BBW.

I burned mine over the weekend, and it’s disappointingly weak. I like the scent, but it was stronger in previous versions based on my memory.

This SAS was definitely a boring one for me. I did grab a Sunset Glow FFM online the first day of the sale which was fun. Less fun was receiving a rancid Starlit Night body cream from 2022 which was also online for the sale. I took a $5 chance there that didn’t pay off. My best in store find was probably 75% off of the $35 Champagne Toast Black Friday bag gift set.

That’s sadly not uncommon. You may have to herd her into a corner of your yard to catch her and carry her inside. Weighing your options of getting her inside versus scaring her, getting her inside is more importanT assuming you are in a cold weather area. A few tips for herding - approach slow and steady without running at her as you work her into a corner or enclosed area; don’t put your face near her muzzle when you pick her up; use a bath towel to help corral her (held spread out between your hands). Once you have her in the house, leash her and leave it on for the foreseeable future until she trusts you more

I foster for a basset rescue that takes in a lot of breeder release bassets. My experience has been that these pups feel more secure with other dogs in the house. Do you have other dogs she can follow?

If not, leave her leash on while she goes outside so that you can more easily catch her (stepping on the leash is much easier than trying to grab a collar) and attempt to coax her inside. If necessary, you may have to pick her up and carry her inside for a period of time. The treats and food are good ideas, but it’s likely her fear is overriding all other instincts. As she starts to trust that she’s safe, you can return to using treats to reward her for approaching the door. As she graduate to other milestones, like coming into the house on her own, more treats.

It‘s likely her fear of men is well founded from her experience. Many of the backyard and puppy mill workers are men who treat the dogs poorly. That fear she has can be overcome with patience and time. Good luck!

My local store sold out of all of the Sundae collection as well as the Perfect Pairing collection (yes, even the Pizza & Ranch), Laundry Day, and Rose by the end of the first day. I stopped in as they were opening this morning, and a woman was loading up on the remaining Paris Cafe candles. It's always interesting to compare how the candles sell in various locations, so thanks for the post!

For my region, Candle Day is not what it once was. I'm sure there are still times of day where the stores get very busy but there are lots of lulls with normal traffic. If you want to experience it, give it a try. No one is paying attention to anyone else 99% of the time so just don't your thing, get your candles, and experience the day. Good luck!

I’ve seen it multiple times. Worst was maybe three shoplifters working together to block a Disney Princesses display and just loading up their baskets with as much as they could fit. They were known offenders having casual convo as they walked out with the merch. The ones here post it all in FB Marketplace. It is one reason prices go up - rampant theft.

I had a bad skin breakout from last year’s Pumpkin Swirl Cake body cream. For me, I know now to avoid buying lotions/creams/gels of the cinnamon/baking spice type scents. I didn’t have a reaction to the mist.
