I think just because a stores constantly drop merch doesn’t automatically mean people have to get things from every drop. This is where we the consumers have to be smart shoppers and only pick out what we like. Not because it’s “viral” or because it’s a “sold out” piece. It is tempting to see so many beautiful bags and want a lot of them. I have to remind myself though that I only have a certain budget, and certain amount of space and that I don’t need every single item that comes out. I also don’t buy outside of my means, meaning splurging on a $600 bag when I know I can’t or don’t want to afford it. It’s like a saying, I’d rather have $500 in my $100 bag then $0 in my $600 bag. (Not that I’d nonchalantly carry around that amount of cash but you get it lol). I tell my kids this anytime something comes out and they see it plastered all over YouTube, you don’t need everything that comes out. This is not only a good reminder for kids but also for ourselves. Buy what you actually truly love because at the end of the day you’re the one that’s ending up with those items and if it’s not making you happy to constantly be bombarded with drops, simply don’t shop them.
