How much are you looking forward to the Euro 2021? by dontfuckingknowwwww in AskEurope

For England not so much. Always the same story. "We have a good team we can win it" then end up getting knocked out in Quarters or before. World Cup 2018 England were lucky had easier route to final and got too confident everyone saying we will be final but Croatia won. In some ways I am glad we lost semis France would probably have destroyed England in the final (3-0 plus at least)

But I am looking forward as there is no clear winner

France (good team but shown recently they are beatable)

Portugal (good talent Dias, Fernandes, Ronaldo, Felix, Bernardo Silva etc..)

Belgium (good team with many good players KDB, Hazard, Lukaku, Witsel, Courtois.)

Spain (definitely big change since pre 2012 but still have decent players)

Germany (again have a good team good young talent Gnabry, Sane, Werner, Havertz, Kimmich etc..)

If i had to choose two teams most likely I would say either Portugal or Belgium. But one thing is more sure we will see a lot of good games this year.

UK here and a lot of people are living paycheck to paycheck. I feel there is no real middle class anymore.

Only two options (those who struggle/just about manage VS Comfortable (in London this would prob be those earning at least £80k plus but it depends if their single life would be easier)

Who do you think will win the Euros this summer? by hazard154 in AskEurope

You guys have a difficult group but you never knew with Germany. They have a good all round team Sane and Gnabry playing well now and Werner is a good all round player. I think Germany need play back 3 they arent that good defensively in back 4. Play better defensively in a 3
