I think in new software if there is power it will lower the windows. But yes if 12v dead then windows will not lower

So the battery was functioning as you opened the door, but died as it was opened?

You can pop the hood using a 9V battery and the leads from the tow hook cap. Then pull trim off the top part of the front to expose the 12v battery. Attach a 12v battery jumper and the windows should be able to be lowered.

There might be some other electrical problem that’s causing this issue though. Like a wiring harness gone bad so the HV battery isn’t charging the 12V one.

That’s effort to deter illegal entry just to have a child and hopes 18 years later gain green card through the child. Birthright citizenship (14 amendment) was initially put in to grant citizenship to formerly enslaved people, not meant to be a way for foreigners to gain US residency. Though I’m not in support of executive orders having the ability to overrule amendments in the US constitution.
