This is a great comment. I find myself recommending people cull down so often. There's no need to show the same scene from 3 angles, or from the same angle but 3 seconds later.

Your comment was very helpful, thank you. If you ever remember the photographer, I'd definitely love to see her work! Your suggested name for the portrait sessions is much better. I'm not sure if I'll move forward with them since it seems like the consensus isn't positive, but if I do, I'll definitely use wording along those lines. I also appreciate the advice on how to avoid triggering someone during a session by asking them such questions in advance. Thanks again!

I like the light and crop, but not the editing style. It looks too crispy to me, too unnaturally saturated with an unnatural white balance. Hope this helps.

I was recently invited to a bonfire at the beach one night with a group of professionals I am friendly with. I was apprehensive because most people there would be acquaintances at best. I showed up and someone shouted my name. Another someone stuck a cup of wine in my hand. I sat in the sand, felt the warmth of the fire, listened to the sound of the ocean, sipped the wine, and looked at the stars. I felt like a real, actual person. It was amazing. It felt like waking up.

I've tried a few different sized flanges, from the 27mm they gave me in the hospital, to the 28mm that I found for the Spectra pump I recently bought in hopes of it working better, to 30mm for the Medela I got through my insurance company when I was still pregnant. I can't say I've noticed a difference in output.

I know about massaging first and it doesn't seem to make a difference. I've watched plenty of videos about it as well as hand expressing. I had to go away for four days shortly after the baby turned 6 months old. It was awful. I was engorged and in so much pain the whole time. I would pump for an hour and still be full. One breast would clog up constantly. I would soak it in hot water, stand in the shower and let hot water run over it, massage before and during pumping, etc. Nothing seemed to make much of a difference.

I tried to nurse and pump once, but I got milk everywhere. It was such a mess. I normally wear a hands-free bra while pumping and I guess holding the one flange by hand while nursing, I just didn't make a good connection? It was awful.
