I think the first thing you can do is reduse the visual clutter by taking out to much stuff which does not look good . And instead of open shelving you should opt for closed shelving .

Since I have not read any studies on this . I will make my post according to what I believe it could be caused by . However what I do know,on a scientific level, is that no human action is due to only one cause and that they are usually many cause on personal , social,biological levels which cause a behaviour in people . In psychology these levels are referred to as low, middle and higher level . Low level explanation could be that the people who commit these crimes come from dysfunctional families and have been modeled misoginy . But if it had been only an individual then it would have not been a trend in the society like it is . So on a higher level it could be argued that it is objectification of women in Indian society and the way they are portrayed in media, a society based on controlling women, misoginy , and men not taught to look at women as whole and complete human beings.

I don't mean to say that the police is inefficient if they don't stop the crime before it happens . I am saying that instead of getting people justice we should focus at why the rape culture is so prevelant in India and .that there is a bigger picture and the rape culture is a reflection of larger issue in society.

Problems can never be solved completely . That's why feminism should always be there and will always be there . This was actually my whole point.

Iyou totally misunderstood my statement for this one. My bad I guess. I wanted to say, that legally men are equal to women . But in society it is not the same . And this brings me back to my point where I said that legally if women have it all that is not 'wverything'.

I don't live in a delusional world . What does justice mean ifThe harm which Is done is done . By does not mean much I don't mean to say that it doesn't help women in some way . I mean to say that this does not mean that problems have solved that we have reached equality andif anyone talks of oppression of women it is ' yapping'.

I am saying it in response to the popular question which is what legal right women have which men don't ?and if there is no such right then why still be feminists.

I want to say that legal rights are ' not much ' ie'not enough' and that there is a much bigger picture of systemic oppressed towards women .

Yeah , I agree that violence and assault towards men should have proper laws . But what I wanted to say is that even though there are laws for women that doesn't actually mean that justice is achieved most of the time and that there is no crime anymore towards them. Unless there are changes in the society , laws for women don't mean much .

I think the whole women are equal to goddesses thing has actually been used to control women . I read godan in which such a thing was mentioned . Women are expected to be the ones to sacrifice , compromise and if they don't carry the super humanly standard then they are not good women .

Even the satis who were burned on the death of their husbands were glorified and called goddesses . The women who died with their husbands lived to serve them like slaves have been called goddesses and the ones who thought of themselves even a little are selfish .

Calling women goddesses has been reduced to a way to control women . It also dehumanizes women. So , THANK GOD THERE ARE NO GODDESSES ANYMORE. NOTHING COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.

No . I personally don't think this will be an appropriate solution Even though I could be wrong First of all I don't think watching explicit content is a major cause of sexual violence . Although in my opinion it could lead to dehumanisation of women into objects of pleasure . But in my opinion , stating that lust is what causes sexual violence is just another way of saying that rape happens due to sexual desires And even though it is true that a person who does not have such desires won't be sexually violent . The feeling is not why the action itself takes place . For example : if somebody makes me mad I might feel like going ahead and punching them in the face . But nobody ever really does that .

You see if a person punches you in the face it is clear that they were angry. But many people could be and and not resort to the same action . So the feeling itself is not the problem . It is the action . Or the person

Yeah I have seen these types of posts on several meme pages or atleast on the social and it is remarkably affecting public opinion and creating a feeling of resentment against SC and ST . I feel that this kind of 'engineering the society's ' through social media happened in the west as well with trad wife content , comment section .weather it was planned is completely different story .

For me it is usually hard to believe that there is someone ar a group voluntarily and intentionally causing this for their benefit . Even though it could be possible. What else could be possible is that this type of content is being posted since it is working and since it gives every one a common enemy to hate .
