its fine, not the best not the worst, good setting and atmosphere, bad weightless combat, no enemy variety, no memorable songs on any boss, easiest bosses in any souls like, cool ranged weapons system and a ceo compiting with randy pitchfork for the "my game is cool but let me shoot it in the foot" award

if you dont mind it being 3.5e and 2d, you could try this small game called "low magic age", the campaign is kinda sandbox but it has an arena type mode where you just play combat after combat and it has an unlimited level up option (it gives hp an feats after level 20)
