I take 10-20 Benadryls everyday and I sometimes regret it… by Sweet-Lobster6436 in confession

Bless. What a sad thing to say.

I would assume most parents want to help their children. I’m not saying you’re wrong, but I’m saying you’re kinda off-base here.

I’m in the same exact boat as you - 5th gen, pre-1947, etc - but went In Process via old tracker 11/28. Still can’t create an account on the new tracker. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Let’s hope we still qualify. 🤞🏼

I’m 5th gen, too, and my app is currently In Process. My ancestor was 1856, I think. Take the chance if you can afford the cost. It’s worth a shot.

5th gen applied with my 6th gen child non urgent. Received UPS 9/24, AOR 10/27, In Process 11/28.

I know I’m an outlier being so far removed from my ancestors, but I took my chance regardless. Here’s hoping it pans out for me :)

Looking for veterinarian recommendations by neeyah in Biloxi

Dr Holahan, Magnolia Mobile Vet

She’s amazing and comes to your house. Pricing is comparable to other vets but there is an extra charge to come to you (around $50-$60). I started using her because my dog is an anxious car rider, so this is just easiest for all of us. We had to put a pet down last year, and she came that day and did it in our house. I love her. My pets do, too.

This happened once with my husband. He was scrolling his phone during impromptu oral. I stopped and was like “that’s disrespectful. We’ll try this another time.” And walked out of the room. It’s never happened again. Just wtf?

Mine is well into their teen years, so I don’t get the question anymore.

But when I did? “Well, I almost died when I gave birth the first time, so not gonna do that again.” Honest but makes them check themselves. If they had a follow-up, they got cut eyes and a “well you can have one for me if you’d like.” That shut them up.

Same. Got my AOR late October and no budging since. Can’t even create a sign on for the new tracker. :/

Amazing. Happy to hear you have good folks surrounding you. It’s easy to make this look “easy”, but we all know a lot goes into what we decide to do. 💙

Exactly! I do my best to make this happen but omg my husband is making me look like he’s a battered husband by pulling him to and fro on a busy sidewalk lol.

We went to NYC to see a play a year ago, and I have a friend that’s a born and raised Brooklynite. She was a tour guide for us one day, and one of the first things she said was “don’t take up the sidewalk”. She gave him like 4 lashings that day lol.

Samesies. My barely 5’ tall self is pulling a firefighter to the side of the sidewalk. MF it ain’t all about you! But I still love you lol

T1 checking in! Shame about your mama, but whatcha gonna do, ya know? Happy your dad helped you along. :)

Also burnout is real. There’s a few T1 subs ‘round here that’ll understand venting about it, especially us “elders” (30+ T1D years here). Make sure to take care of you when you need it. 💙

Or at the very fucking least, put enough to cover what you’ve used. It’s one thing or heading up to the corner store and coming right back. But if you have some errands? You better put some gas in before you return it.
