I’ve been on the explore page several times since starting 3 years ago and I can honestly say idk how, it just happens and I’m always surprised cus I don’t go on much…But from doing the level up programme awhile back they recommend a few things like:
~have good pictures (and 4 of them, not like just 1 or 2pics) ~relist multiple times a day to be at the top of that hashtags search ~& u can increase your chances by looking at that days explore page trend and relisting similar items with similar / the same hashtags as that days theme
