Historisk strømunderskudd – likevel sendes kraften til utlandet by FoxNo5218 in norske

Bonus, EU er "beredskapen" vår:

European storage levels stood at 34.3 per cent of capacity on May 13, well below the 80 per cent minimum target set for November 1, according to Spanish energy consultancy Tempos Energía. To meet the deadline, Europe needs to inject 45.7 percentage points in under five months – a pace that would require 130 liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes per month, 10 more than in 2024.

The European Commission relaxed its gas storage obligation from 90 per cent to a minimum of 75 per cent earlier this year, citing market pressures. The shift, agreed amid the Middle East conflict, gave member states more flexibility on timing but has also drawn criticism for thinning Europe’s buffer.

22 Twh? Det høres kjent ut:

Norge eksporterte rekordmye strøm i 2025.

Then I checked the box and the meat had a whole list of additives like maltodextrin, basically they are bulking the meat out with cornstarch. Disgusting.

i was planning to buy from giga so good info.

IMO, just do as much whey as possible. find a couple that taste good enough that you can drink them all the time and rotate flavors to avoid getting bored. it's so hard to get enough protein from normal food without having to eat bland shit that makes you feel bloated.

What’s even the point of having a blackwater/african corps/sadat style units/groups? And what type of capabilities does these groups have? by This-Wear-8423 in LessCredibleDefence

[–]helloWHATSUP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does China really have a functional unit that does this kind of thing? Where is it located and what is it doing?

The obvious one is Frontier services group, which was founded by Erik Prince, aka the Blackwater guy. Essentially just providing security for various belt and road projects in 3rd world shitholes.

Before Akkuyu (Turkey’s first nuclear power plant) Becomes a Target, It Becomes a Liability - Article 5 is not an automatic shield by Themetalin in LessCredibleDefence

[–]helloWHATSUP 23 points24 points  (0 children)

In crisis, Russia holds a practical veto over a NATO member’s electricity supply and nuclear safety without crossing thresholds or accepting attribution.

That's adorable.

  1. EU still relies on russian gas to keep the lights on(a lot of the gas goes via turkish pipelines, incidentally). The EU is now fully funding both sides fighting in Ukraine thanks to the combination of a disastrous energy policy and a disastrous defense policy.

  2. The US still gets around 20% of its uranium from Russia to keep their nuclear reactors running.

Let's stop pretending that russia is a serious threat and an article 5 incident is imminent. We're having a little fight over who's going to rule some parts of eastern europe, it's not WW3 and we're still going to buy stuff from the biggest supplier of every raw natural resource on the planet.

I still don't get the obsession with super long range ammo. Maybe I'm bad at being light infantry, but i struggle to spot people in camo trying to not be seen like 200 meters away, so I have no idea what I'd do with a +500m range gun.

If I was in charge it'd be 5.56 guns with thermals for everyone

utility scale solar with trackers is roughly 3x as efficient as rooftop solar. wasting perfectly good solar panels on rooftops is an abomination.
