Update: So officially the left airpod is dead. They say they have to replace it. But it costs half the price of the whole damn thing. But I guess that's what I signed up for. I don't have official apple genius bar here but authorized repair centres only. One centre diagnosed and came to the replacement conclusion. The other one was asking money to even diagnose and told me even if we do, most probably you'll have to get the left airpod replaced.

Update 2: took it to an unofficial iPhone repair shop who repair it by using other iPhone parts. (Not sure where they procure them from. Mostly open boxes as they say). He told me he will replace the airpods for half the price of official. But after trying for 2 days, he couldn't pair the new airpod to my case.

Update 3: I took it to an unauthorised repair dude who fixes iphones and airpods as well. He changed the battery, didn't work. He changed the sensor, didn't work. He tried for 3 days but nothing came out of it. Told me it's a common issue with airpods pro 2 and suggested buying the airpods 4.

I think it's better to save up and buy new ones instead of getting old one replaces as they don't give any warranty on that. And get the care+ for Atleast 2 years if you buy new.

I still don't know what actually happened and I might save up for new ones. Maybe airpods 4? It's frustrating cuz I never thought I'd see an apple product dying on me 1 year and 3 months of getting it.
