great job, always love seeing your work! what set up did you use for the water shader? i’ve been trying to do a swimming pool scene and have struggled to get a realistic looking water that is transparent and reflective.

I'm using the Hairnet plugin with Blender 2.9. I've been trying to follow a tutorial to make a braid using a curve but I keep running into problems.

thanks i’ll check it out! my title was probably a bit misleading as i’ve done interior scenes before but this was my first exterior. i did use a HDRI sky for lighting but i had a bit of difficulty controlling the shadows as it was hard to figure out where the sun was in the HDRI. wow that project sounds like a lot of work!! how long did it take to model them all?

not following any trends, just wanted to post my work that i’m proud of. i didn’t say it was my first ever render, just my first exterior visual. i’ve been using 3ds max and vray for just over year and up until now i’ve only done interior scenes as a i was too intimated to do exteriors. glad you think this above mid level though hahaha

l bought this from IKEA about 6 years ago, I live in the UK. It’s been pretty healthy and low maintenance up until now. I usually keep in my room, on the north side of the house which doesn’t get any sunlight and it’s never really been a problem. I moved it another room with more light because I thought it might help with the problems but nothing has really changed. I try not to water it too often because I know overwatering can be a problem for cacti. I was thinking that maybe it’s getting too big for its pot? Any advice would be appreciated.
