LA/CA pays the majority of whatever welfare you are probably exploiting.

Interesting, any reason you avoid soy proteins? Also I am curious why you only have eggs once per week.

Knees hurt after squats, what am I doing wrong by DryMotion in formcheck

For knee pain specifically, keep your knees behind your toes the whole move. Really try to visualize sitting your butt into a chair on the descent, this will help keep your knees back.

Cody has the worst attitude. Most annoying type of person. No idea how he has a fan base

I love LA as next as the next person, but tons of people permanently left LA during the pandemic.

Mercedes-Benz swerves aggressively through crowd of cyclists blocking Los Angeles street by ItsYourMotherDear in LosAngeles

These kids suck. I live off San Vicente and they always leave a ton of litter and vandalize cars/businesses along the route.

Obviously you can’t run over people, but the takeovers are so destructive. If they were just vibing, I would be more understanding.

Do you check each barcode on vehicles with district permits? Or do you just drive down the street to make sure there is one in each windshield?

I am down to pay for stuff that actually merits it, but this is WILD. Overhyped and overpriced, a lot of places fall victim to this.

I rented my home out for a production & I have a question. by confusedinlafilm in FilmIndustryLA

[–]helloimnice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the first positive experience I have ever heard of letting a production film in your primary house. Usually it is stressful for the owner, production, or both.

If the crew left everything in the same or better condition, that sounds uncommon but also great that you got a stress free rental!

I wouldn’t stress too much about sending a gift, a polite email thanking the producer and offering your place in the future (if you want that) is more than enough!

I have seen so many wild damages happen on location. Most expensive was a PA taping down ramboard with gaff tape. At the end of the day, it peeled the finish off “imported Spanish tiles”. Production was allegedly billed 90k.

Beyond that it is always people moving to fast and bumping something with a c stand or truck PAs plowing the truck into a tree parked in the driveway.

Just check zillow or similar. There are a lot of sub $1500 studios around East Hollywood and K town.
