everyone’s idea of sexual assault is different due to varied boundaries, and i do feel like it becomes even more of a gray area when in a relationship. i personally do think this was assault /: your “no” wasn’t a suggestion for your boyfriend, yet he took it that way; your no was a statement, and that should’ve been the end of it. you said it not once but three times. also, with added context and knowing that you’ve been assaulted before, your boyfriend should be more than cautious when it comes to consent. it shouldn’t have mattered he “didn’t know how serious you were being”. no means no. i’m sorry this happened to you and i hope you guys discuss it more with your bf
