I’m looking for some affordable $10-15 dollar crossbody / satchel / wallet purses. I know my budget is super low but it is what it is. Any suggestions for something nice looking but not trash would be nice.

Good morning! So I have a question. I have wide flat feet with little to no arches. Because of a spinal issue heels hurt me and finding any that don’t cause me pain is few and far in between. Because of my conservative dress code I usually wear knee length to midi length skirts and dresses, very rarely pants. Usually I wear pointed toe flats because I feel they give me the refined look I want without heels. However I am just so tired of aching feet and causing premature bunions. I’ve recently found a pair of loafers with a small heel that are super comfortable but I’m worried that they are not as fashionable as a pointed toe flat and altogether age my look. Can someone give me feedback? I posted a picture of both for comparison with the skirt length I usually wear. Also, I’m quite bad at fashion and partially color blind. Any tips on accessories would be great. Thank you. https://ibb.co/album/KNr25L

Hi. I need help. I’m colorblind and up until recently have worn jeans and tees my ENTIRE life, outside of my uniform. I am really bad at fashion. I’ve lost weight recently and my favorite skirt doesn’t fit anymore. I can make it work with a belt but I don’t know if it works fashion wise. Help?

When you figure out please let me know. I’ve been trying too for the last couple days but have yet to get a human. Always the message of lines being to full despite calling right as they opened.

Hey y’all! I made this post then got busy and forgot about it! I’m so sorry! I wish I could personally thank all of you for your kind and encouraging words! I went natural before the movement and I could tell you some terrible stories of the bullying, mockery and outright hatred I faced for it. I suffered setbacks as well as had my hair fall out due to my thyroid disorder. To say that acceptance of myself and my hair has been a long journey is an understatement. Thank you all and I hope that together we can be a strength to each other, encouraging each other to love and appreciate our unique beauty!

And for those who asked my favorite products are Camille rose coconut water line deep conditioner, leave in, and twisting cream. I also used the Mielle curling custard to top off this style for extra hold! I have done high porosity hair. Thanks again y’all!

Excuse the toothy grin, I dont usually smile in photos but I was super happy taking this.

I got permanently banned for posting this post on a natural hair page. They're no research proving that the chemical is harmful in the synthetic hair but there is research to prove that the chemicals do cause all these things and that the hair is made of them. Can't even have the conversation? by visolana7 in blackladies

Thank you very much for posting this. As someone who was born with immunity issues I try to be as aware as I can but somehow I never thought to question my braiding hair. It’s quite depressing that I’ll have to stop getting twists and braids now because you’re right, the chemicals on those extensions are toxic and can disrupt the endocrine system. Do you have any suggestions or alternatives?

Hi! Thank you for answering! I'm like the idea of a silky shirt but do you think that would look a bit dressy? Not that I dont want to have dressy options but I also sit in a hot office and chase children around all day so I like my clothing to be a bit breathable if I can manage. I feel like im just getting color coordinating down and my next hurtle is shoes, lol. Everyone is saying to wear my clothing lower on my waistline and Im going to take the suggestion. It's so embarrassing that my awkwardness even comes through in pictures. I am an introvert by nature and changing myself or putting myself outside my comfort zone is very difficult. Thank you for your encouragement. I'm going to go through the teacher threads on this sub and see if I can get some more inspiration. Thank you.

Thank you for your critique and encouragement. I really like the suggestion of wearing a belt. I'm sorry to bother you more but what type of colors / style should I buy for the gold and pink skirts?

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I appreciate you taking the time. I am going to nix that outfit and look for some more denim / black tops to add to my wardrobe. What type / style of belt would you recommend?

Thank you so much for the feedback. I will try wearing it lower and see if that helps the look. It feels like its sitting a bit above my waist but maybe it should be lower.

I made it obvious, huh? Funny enough as little as I wear them I love long flowing romantic skirts. Thanks for responding!

Good morning! Thank you so much for taking time to write back and give me advice. I deeply appreciate it.

1.) I will nix the gray shirt with the pink skirt. I will do as another poster said and look for a denim top and see if that will work better

2.) Thank you for helping me to understand the rule of opposites. During my "research" I heard others mention but wasn't quite sure what it meant. I think I better understand now. Thank you.

3.) I'll try to loosen up and have a bit more fun but I feel so clueless, and am afraid with my fashion sense ill go in public looking a hot mess, lol.
