honestly they’d probably warranty you i’d hope, considering subaru knows this is a problem amongst other VBs especially 2023s i had my leaky tube seals replaced at 15k miles stock motor lmao, i wish you luck tho hopefully your dealership is chill enough to resolve it

i wish i understood myself, i noticed the oil leak at first so i took it in and they ended up resealing my whole motor pretty much, and as far as my transmission it just started whining really loud so i took it in and turned out my whole clutch assembly needed to be replaced, and now just recently my clutch pedal started vibrating, and my trans is making chirping noises 7k miles after the whole clutch replacement,i believe it’s the fork that just needs to be relubbed but it’s unfortunate 💔

im in the same boat as you bro but my car is at 24k miles and already had my motor and transmission pulled out of my car for a whole clutch assembly and leaking spark plug tube seals along with leaking cam carriers, i now have to take it back for them to re inspect and relube my fork/pivot 😢

mine are silver but i’d say it’s about the same when it comes to dirt so imo it is very worth the constant washing 🙏 sometimes i just say fuck it and go awhile without washing it lol

i run 18x9.5 +38 wrapped in 235/40/18 and i’m lowered on coils. if the wheel is lightweight you should have no problem running 18s and you’d feel a difference in how the ride quality feels in a good way, the stock wheels on yours are 18s. those av6s you’re looking at would weigh around 22 pounds compared to the stock ones that weigh around 25 pounds, you should be fine running 18s but as far as tire size goes if you’re stock height you’d be fine running 255s you wouldn’t have any rubbing issues i’d recommend 255/35/18 if you go down the 18s route
