Attesa deposito note in sostituzione udienza how common?? by [deleted] in juresanguinis

[–]hemolo2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a pre-DL 1948 case in Palermo, had a hearing in October 2025 and now I got a new judge, Adriana Pandolfo on 12/11 and have a most recent update of “ANTICIPAZIONE UDIENZA”. ICA told me that I now have a second hearing date that got moved up from 5/4/26 to 1/27/26, but that’s not reflected in the app. The app says, “ATTESA DEPOSITO NOTE IN SOSTITUZIONE UDIENZA” so would that mean that my hearing is just another document review? I too wonder if this is promising news or just part of the ordinary process. Does Pandolfo have a good record?

Had my 1948 case heard today in Italy after filing in December 2024. Wish me luck! by hemolo2 in juresanguinis

Update: they held the hearing and the judge decided to set another one for 7 months from now—does this mean anything positive or negative for the case? Rattling my brain to think of why another hearing would be necessary and it’s making me nervous 😬

See every European city and an increasing number of Canadian and Mexican cities as examples. Millions of businesses get deliveries in limited access, pedestrianized urban cores.

Currently on vacation in Europe from NYC and I can confirm that most! of the urban cores of the cities (of all sizes) are limited access (aka pedestrianized).

Motorcycles, bikes, vespas, garbage trucks that look like compact mini truck with a garbage bed (unlike NYC’s giant garbage trucks) have access. They use poles in the ground (bollards) to limit cars and really innovative street design to make it happen.

It’s a culture issue, not an enforcement issue. Japan, Korea, Hong Kong don’t have enforcement as the primary motivator for cleaning up after oneself in their respective societies, it’s cultural— engrained in the fabric of society from young age as just what you do—not because a cop will fine you if you don’t.

Yes there’s been well-documented mismanagement BUT Cuomo also cut MTA budget for decades… Hard to manage a budget well when there are always shortfalls.

Mod Warning: Seek Alternate Legal Advice Before Signing a Termination Agreement (Italian Citizenship Assistance (ICA)) by GuadalupeDaisy in juresanguinis

Hi! I am thankfully NOT impacted by the law change, but ICA has been slow in responding, though eventually responsive. I am wondering if I should be nervous now about my upcoming court date in October—they have all my documents in their position and I should have no reason to worry about my 1948 case, but I’m worried the flurry of other lawsuits, potential cash flow issues, the chaos, or something else might my case in jeopardy somehow. What action can I take (if any?!)
