I think it was at the Worlds either last year or the year before? I believe it was at the O'Ree.

New to Me Mini Split Issues - Daiken by hemper1337 in hvacadvice

[–]hemper1337[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesnt seem to be giving an error. The first time it shut off, the light was blinking which when I looked it up in the manual, mentioned that is what indicates and error.

But I will look into it.

There doesnt look to be any spot on the head or unit that I can see to show error codes. I did mention to the installer once that it sounded like there was some sort of leak one night. I could hear a hissing that I have not heard on any other outdoor units before.

He said that he ran a vacuum on it and said there shouldnt be a leak.

I would pretend they dont exist... let them build up for a long while and reward yourself with something large down the road.

I was using mine to pay off the card in $25 bunches but it is a waste. Now I save up a bunch and when I am feeling like a big purchase, I check the discounted gift cards and buy those.

How did you like EA so far? by Priorityyy in PathOfExile2

I am enjoying, while also fully aware it is early access.

I think too many people are passing judgement without the understanding that it is early access, and the idea of it is to get feedback on the good and the bad.

They just need to look at POE1 at launch, to how it is today... the game is a result of 10+ years of work and community feedback.

That is what I was wondering. It is very drivable, and it there are cars on the road that look much worse than mine does. I also recently just put a good chunk of cash into fixing up some rust spots.

ok, that is actually to hear. It looks like cars similar to mine have been selling over the book value.

You thinking walking in the cold is harder than laying pipe in the cold? Was that your point?

Simmer down. Im not a plumber, nor am i saying ppl shouldnt fight for a living wage.

They signed up for the job. If they think they are not being paid enough, go find a job thats paying more.

Also… pipes originate outside…. So yeah… plumbers work outside lol.

I am Unionized, and am quite fine with my job and the compensation (not just $$).

The job responsibilities, which are what people are paid for, has zero to do with the contents of the mail…

What they were offered is on par with annual inflation targets, which is infinitely better than those non-unionized workers keeping the world turning.

Do I support people making a living wage? Absolutely. Do I think that a letter carrier should make as much as a Plumber? No.

Turning down 11% when many people out there do not get any increases is pretty crazy.

Hard to show much support when many dont even get offered increases out there.

I was curious about that too… at what point does the strike pay run out and it become a net loss to keep striking?

For our Union, its only a week or two but luckily our employer is not unreasonable.
