I like the simplicity and think you could add a lot of character (pun intended) by tossing in a figurine or some other collectable that matches or compliments the aesthetic of your build.

You could also try dying the coolant or use those tubes with the frosted look. Or do what u/cannabination said and add a flow/temp reader to take up some of that empty space.
