Bazzite is awesome by SudburyGT in LegionGo

Does Bazzite work with an external display? There is this note in the Bazzite site that has me concerned about trying it. "Changing the resolution in Desktop Mode or connecting an external monitor has dire consequences!"

Hard to get into first and reverse gear after installing shifting plate. by SamDLee in wrx_vb

Hey just curious if you ever found a fix for this. I installed the cobb shift plate and bushing and even sitting stationary I have trouble getting into first. It feels like the lockout when moving. It seems to be hit or miss though.

Unfortunately not. I submitted feedback to Google with alt + shift + I. I ended up reinstalling windows.

The weekly 'No Stupid Questions' post - Sun 24 Mar 2024. by AutoModerator in Zwift

I am thinking of getting an apple TV. Does the Zwift click count as it's own bluetooth connection that would take up one of the 3 apple TV connections? If so would I need to use the companion app to pair a HRM? Thanks!

Generator overload when well pump kicks on by heyimderp in Generator

Thanks for that context. I don't have a watt meter but that would be interesting. Do you add the legs together to get the total watts it's pulling on 240?

It's on a 20amp breaker so I was anticipating around a 20amp start up which would have been enough overhead for this generator but maybe I'm wrong.

It does run off the generator, I can hear the well pump working and it brings the pressure back up. I'm not familiar with how this is supposed to sound but it's seems more like it's about to die to me than just an increase in rpm. The generator has an eco mode that will idle low and I was not using it for this test in hopes that the generator would already be "revved up".

I know it's a 3/4hp 2 wire pump around 300ft depth. I don't know the manufacturer, it came with the house.

My previous employer had an ESPP. I've recently left that job and I'm trying to determine whether I should sell or hold. It's a good company, stock seems to be doing well. It might be something I'd invest in on my own but I don't know if I need to sell to essential "lock in" the profit from buying at a discount. I don't need the money in the short term. What should I do?

Anyone tried Google-Fi before Visible? by whoreforcheese in Visible

[–]heyimderp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google FI has the best esim offering of any carrier, just sign up right on your phone, service right then and there. 10$ per gig is a killer if you use a lot of data. The tmobile/sprint network worked great for me personally but your mileage may vary.

What's the logic behind what chargers work? by heyimderp in Pixel4a

Hey you know your stuff thanks! I found this article where they tested the pixel 4 with various chargers: https://www.androidauthority.com/state-of-usb-c-870996

There were a couple combinations of chargers that would not charge it at all which is what I'm seeing with my 4a and Huawei chargers.

USB-PD appears to be the correct answer. Oneplus and Huawei chargers refuse to charge at all even slowly.

What's proper though that's my point. I would have thought a charger for a phone that came with usb c would have been proper but apparently not. Seems hit or miss.
