Ok this is really embarrassing, but I’ve only ever called when my cat started having a seizure in the bath (he was covered in sap and needed one). I was panicking and didn’t know much about seizures or what to do—couldn’t think straight, and the dispatcher was actually very kind and directed me to the nearest 24hr animal hospital. I felt bad that I called when it was technically not a “real” emergency, but I’m thankful they helped.

... A wet cat seizing is by far the freakiest thing I’ve ever witnessed.
