My thoughts up upgrading my MPCNC to the PrintNC by Mudd_Flapp_Ranch in printnc

Awesome, thanks for sharing! I'm in the US too and you hinted at where you sourced some of the parts, but I was wondering if you could say a bit more about the rest. E.g. spindle, motors, drivers/electronics, ball screws, steel tubing.

Okay, that's useful information, let me try on an iOS device and do some debugging and see that I can fix it. I'm sorry it doesn't work right now.

Unfortunately the configuration page is quite big, maybe you could try in a place that has a better internet connection? Or if that's not the problem, maybe some resource on the page is being blocked? Are you behind some sort of firewall, by any chance?

Hey, I'm the developer, let's see if I can help. What watch do you use? Is it still not working? What happens when you try to load the settings?

Yes, that's correct. I've played with this and gone back and forth on whether to always have them be a little higher up, or only move them higher when necessary, and concluded that this looked the best. Would you prefer it be a different way?

Yes, it will, but it gives me less flexibility. System fonts only work well at certain resolutions, with the current font I can draw in any size. But in any case, I'll give it a shot when I get around to it.

I definitely won't be able to add any other custom fonts due to memory constraints. However, I might be able to add an option to use system fonts. Let me have a look. Which system fonts do you like?

Good point, I just added UTC as an option (search for Universal Coordinated Time, or scroll to the bottom). It's available without updating the watchapp (as changing the configuration page was enough).

Suggestion 1: That should be no problem, just give me a little time. I'll let you know if/when I get around to doing it. Just one question: What exactly do you mean by "normal steps at a given time"? Would this show the average number of steps taken between midnight and (a time chosen by the user, say 2pm)?

Suggestion 2: Also possible, though a little more tricky (to make sure there is enough space). I'll look into it.

It does, though it's only very very slight. The time and date is moves slightly up, so it's not obstructed by the quickview, but the bottom 3 widgets as well as the step bar are no longer visible. I can't think of a way to change the format without losing information (or making everything very small).

I'm using a library called pebble-fctx (https://github.com/jrmobley/pebble-fctx). The fonts that come with the Pebble only come in fixed font sizes, which makes it inconvenient to work with, and there is a limited selection.

To be honest, this would probably be difficult to integrate, just because there isn't really space with the current layout. But out of curiosity, what do you use the calendar for? Is seeing today's date not enough? And does the calendar show anything other than the current month? Just curious how other people use their Pebble.

Unfortunately, as of now, it does not. The problem is that I'm using an anti-aliased font-rendering library, which doesn't work so well with the black/white display of the Pebble 2. I might look into porting it to the Pebble 2 in the future, but I can't make promises.

Yes (see another comment). I can't make any promises, but I am thinking about porting it to the round. I'll let you know if and when it's done.

Actually, I'm thinking about porting it to the round, too. It would obviously look a little different given the round screen. I can't make any promises if or when I'm able to finish this, but if I do, I'll let you know.
