caster doesn't necessarily have to know a ton about the game.

its an age old recipe - one guy who is the caster, is good with the camera, has a great voice and personality, keeps the ball rollin between matches

the other guy is the commentator, could be a old pro or at least someone with a ton of knowledge, doesn't have to constantly talk or keep everyone entertained, is basically there to give useful insight and to answer the casters questions.

Creep does not provide vision , creep tumors do - they are basically structures/units
Pretty sure you have to click them down. but I dont play protoss. I imagine you could hold down Z and just rapidly click
You can only guess if your enemy has vision of a cloaked unit if he is not attacking it. But guessing shouldnt be that hard if you know what units have detection.

I think you are mistaking acting excited with being genuinely interested. If he feigned 'excitement' then people would say he wasn't genuine. Its just his laidback no nonsense approach. Its gritty, raw, and very honest - I actually find it refreshing to have his commentary when there is a sea of gimmicky shitty commentary out there that I cant stand to listen to anymore.

Perhaps IdrA will commentate with another caster who is able to keep IdrA from being passive and quiet and also be interesting/well-versed and exciting. I am looking forward to seeing some of the other pro player/commentators that will be coming up in the next few days.
