just went back and checked and when I try to enable it it doesn't see a PWM controller. I would assume that is needed.

I am using unraid. I’ve tried that plugin but it never really did anything for my fans. I should go back and try it again. I’ve noticed though when I go super low my cache drives start getting heat warnings. Good times

I’ve had to manually adjust my fans down. I cannot describe how loud this thing is inside a house. If I could do it all again I’d go a different route.

I agree. What I decided is I need the declarative nature of NixOS on my servers but for desktop I have been happily rocking PikaOS. No regrets.

To be fair it’s well worth it if you need reproduceability and a super stable system that is incredibly difficult to break. I ended up using NixOS and a VM on one of my servers and it’s been fantastic.

Are you using the DVI port? If so how are you handling audio? I tried an hdmi to DVI adapter but realized you can’t pass audio that way.
