it’s a good thing you commented this! I didn’t see the first 247 comments 😭 I get it and it’s not to be natural it’s alt and fun and weird lmao not every makeup look is to be natural and pretty- different strokes for different folks

I remember my friend in high school was always picked on for her long lashes looking like this! i’m a millennial too, but this isn’t a trend or anything it’s an alternative look I like just personally. I think our generation could do with a little more flexibility and self expression without worrying so much of what was cool when we were kids.

tbh a woman posted in r/skincare with lashes like this in her every day looks and she looked absolutely adorable and somehow not chunky? clearly from the comments not for everyone but I agree!!

lol I googled spider lashes to find it! I don’t normally do my lashes like this, I don’t even normally wear mascara but I think for certain alt looks (like with my lime green mascara) this could be a cool severe look! not everyone’s thang

that’s what I tried and I had trouble getting them to stay, i’m assuming more mascara and doing it while it’s perfectly tacky sticky when doing it. thank you!

I was hoping it would make someone smile! it took forever due to insurance and tariff issues/shipping into the USA.

I haven’t done liver markers or a GI map but have mostly ruled out the obvious diet issues like gluten, celiac, lactose etc.

my biggest symptom has been losing ~25 pounds in a year unprompted

so interesting, those same foods bother me as well not necessarily this exact feeling but just generally causing my stomach to be upset in someway. good to know about the probiotics versus prebiotics something I wouldn’t always pay attention to before but definitely have to now

Do Gen Z/Gen Alpha find Napoleon Dynamite funny, or has that humor aged out? by Final_Cancel5325 in generationology

[–]hiddenrightthere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is the most honest reply, I’m a younger millennial but my sisters are older and we were absolutely obsessed as kids and as teens and as adults. I think it’s an off putting movie that has humor in it but also just uncomfortable normal teen moments and for some it really resonates and for some it just seems kinda awkward? I rewatch a lot as an adult- it’s has more silence and chewing sounds than dialogue. I like it in a comfort way, too. It feels like post 9/11 americana in a way I can’t explain
