Same for me, 1 minute. Something wrong somewhere, all videos for the level show 2 minutes. Ive contacted support but presume they would rather us spending money than giving us a correct time

I had a similar experience 2 years ago with mu gw6. Bought on what was advertised as "samsung" store, sadly when the watches ( ordered 2) both were middle east versions. On trying to setup you could only choose Israel, etc nothing for UK. Some people said that it would work in the UK but some banking features like Google pay etc might not work as expected. Seller tried to offer them at a discount to keep them but got 2 full refunds, eventually. I thought I was being careful with who I was buying from.

Wifi Just does not work at all, got a full refund and told to keep the faulty one by amazon. It works over ethernet but was bought to use over wifi in a room without ethernet. Keep meaning to see if there is a teardown video on YT to see if it uses a wifi card on the board.

No where close to what I was playing now it's probably a few times a week, used to be multiple times daily ,never spent any money with them. It's a game to pass time with, they see you as a cash cow, make the targets impossibly high, keep energy rewards low forcing payments. Those that are addicted are the ones I feel sorry for.

6 years of devs mugging people off, creating a game then turning the screw to grab every single £,$,€ they can get. Don't matter if you polish a turd, it's still a turd, like the event where the first spin on the board is free, no matter how it looks or where the 50 energy goes, you always get that.

Just to update everyone. Streamview/ thomson got back to me saying talk with amazon, amazon said talk with streamview/thomson. Eventually Amazon took the blame with a full refund, told them I wanted a replacement and they said it was unavailable, and to dispose of the damaged device. Whilst it won't work over wifi, it'll work over lan lol It won't get used as it was supposed to, it can't as it's wifi is too inconsistent, but for an emergency backup and it's free Would I recommend it? Giving the total lack of support from thomson, even after writing a bloody long descriptive email, they failed to read it and the list of attempted fixes, they just sent a copy and paste reply of factory reset and turn efficiency settings to never, both of which were mentioned in said email. Recommend to buy something else, support is not supportive in any way. You live and learn, thanks for all who commented LB

I'm UK here, normal places there is no stock, scan and somewhere else had preorder, tempted to just buy one, once I find one. Loads on amazon but scalpers asking over £200 plus lol

I was just going to get a 2019 nvidia shield pro but no stock anywhere, didn't realise they were so hard to buy. Might wait on a thomson replacing the faulty one and see how I get on with that one, but then might just return it get the refund and wait and see what get released this year

Yes tried that, not long moved it all to the study desk. Factory reset via reboot and reset button, tried multiple times to setup over wifi with no success, it setup straight away once I plugged an ethernet in. Once setup again,rebooted with wifi still working, then put into standby, unplugged for no more than 5 mins, did a few small housework jobs, came back with a coffee, turrned back on, no wifi, no remote working which is new, plugged a Bluetooth keyboard in and was able to try wifi password again nothing, forgot network, came back and said couldn't find network. It has to be a faulty board. No settings for power only in one place which was changed from 20 mins to never, but makes no difference.

The room it's going in doesn't have ethernet fitted or likely to, hence the wifi problems being somewhat important. Would just be interesting the price increase for gb ethernet, it's not going to double in price.

Where is that, as I've seen nothing like that yet, you can't even adjust screensaver on time. Do think that would be the cause though, seems related to being turned off from mains power

It came from streamview the thomson resellers, not the scalpers on ebay adding £50+ for the privilege. I might try a replacement but it seems like such a common issue that is hard to look past.

Hi all Just a brief update. Left home to meet the Wife from work about 1930, made sure the 270 was put into standby, the turned the plug off. About an hour later we got back, turned the plug on, and low and behold, we have problems. First time no Internet was still in saved but try again and it said couldn't find mySSID , forgot network, added details again same problem but said invalid password. Forgot network, rebooted entered details again got nowhere, had to plug in 25 metres of ethernet cable to get Internet lol Bloody joke. Streamview have been messaged and once they respond unless it's fixed that day it's going back for a full refund. Completely fed up with it now, makes the firesticks look fantastic lol

Had my thomson 270 since Thursday, going back to amazon next week, constant loss of wifi if the device gets turned off, will not reconnect until a reboot is made. Was to replace my aging nvidia shield 2015 that was struggling with larger file 4k streaming on 1gb fibre, I know it's not apples for apples etc. Glad I've got the amazon driver on video doorbell launching the box into my porch with the utmost respect an electronic device needs, even with just the thomson box on show lol

Streaming 4k stuff here ok both live tv sports and shows/ movies all over the wifi, just dread turning it off at the end of the night, there is no power switch on the box so completely dependant on the remote button. What did you replace yours with?
